Our marina is located right next to the campsite and is an ideal small marina for those who want to keep their boat in the beautiful surroundings of the Danish Lake District.
From here, you can sail out onto Knudsø, follow the Gudenå River and the Silkeborg Lakes all the way to Silkeborg, or simply enjoy a peaceful moment on the water close to Ry. With a boat mooring at our marina, you’ll enjoy the perfect balance of easy access to town and the beauty of nature.
Prices and Practical Information
At Birkhede Camping, we offer boat moorings near Ry for the entire season at DKK 7,000. The season runs from 27 March to 1 November 2026, giving you plenty of time to enjoy boating. However, the price may vary depending on when during the season you wish to use the mooring. For example, if you arrive later in the summer, a reduced rate will naturally apply.
Please note that our marina cannot accommodate boats of all sizes. To access the wider Gudenå river system, your boat must also be able to pass under Marimunde Bridge, which can be a challenge, particularly for larger motorboats. We therefore recommend contacting us before booking to check whether your boat is suitable for the conditions.
