New ride 2024: El Grito Drop Tower - 60 meters high - 100 km/h
Try out the wild new El Grito Drop Tower. This year's new big hit in Mexicoland is Djurs Sommerland's highest to date and not for the faint of heart. Experience the wildest view as you rise 60 meters into the air, and enjoy a moment of nerve-wracking silence before you hurtle towards the ground at 100 km/h.
Dinosaurland grows even bigger: 3 epic new rides
New, wild and fun adventures await in the great Dinosaurland. Whizz back and forth on the spine of a giant dinosaur skeleton at the speed of 70 km/h on SpinOsaurus – Denmark’s only Disk’O Coaster. Or jump on the coolest motorbikes with sidecars and feel the rush through hairpin turns in Motorbike Derby. If your bones need a good shake, jump in Fossilvaskeren for a spinning ride. And if you want to get closer to the 25 wild dinosaurs, hop on the T-Rex Family Coaster or go on a jeep safari in Dino Xpedition. There is also the exciting new playground Dinosaurlegepladsen, where ancient dinosaur bones are hiding just beneath the surface.
Dazzling roller coasters in Denmark with the whole family
Looking for speed and exhilaration? Djurs Sommerland offers world-class adrenaline-inducing experiences. Thrill-seekers must not miss out on Piraten. With a height of 32 metres and a top speed of 90 km/h, it has been named one of the best roller coasters in the world. Feel the rush, when DrageKongen – Europe’s fastest and longest Family Suspended Coaster – dives from a height of 30 metres at a hair-raising speed of 85 km/h. Jump on one of the ATVs in Juvelen, Denmark’s longest roller coaster, and experience being launched twice at up to 85 km/h. Look out for Thors Hammer, Den Vilde Hønsejagt, and Jungle Rally - family coasters for even the youngest daredevils.
Giant Aqua Park and more than 60 rides
There is room for both fun and relaxation in Djurs Sommerland. After exploring the 9 exciting, themed areas and all the breathtaking rides, take a break in one of the many green oases and enjoy an ice cream. You can grab a bite to eat in one of the many restaurants in the park, offering a large selection, from burgers and buffets to salads and wraps. Make sure you visit the huge Aqua Park and enjoy the sun relaxing with your feet in the pools or at full speed sliding down one of the many water rides.
